[MSDOS] Monster Summoner
It's time to perform a dark ritual on your DOS computer. Light the soul candle and summon as many monstergirls as you can before time runs out. Downloads below!
HOW TO PLAY:
- Press the ARROW KEYS or WASD to move a face tile onto one of the four summoning tables
- If you get four tiles of the same monster onto a table, you'll summon her!
- If you mix different monster types on a table, you'll summon junk!
- Try not to make pieces collide - for example if a table already has a top left tile and you send another top left tile, you'll lose a heart!
Made January 2026 for CGAJam, available as a download for real DOS machines and emulators, or playable in your web browser.
Notes:
This game is essentially a simplified, more relaxed version of the gameplay concept from the excellent Assembloids, which you should definiitely check out.
I draw to the screen a little too much and this will run slow on a typical CGA card I think, but let me know if you try it on real hardware! Game starts out mostly fair and becomes increasingly less so with each summoning you complete, resetting when you start a new game.

Played this with a DosBox-X install that I somehow still have on my computer. Worked extremely well out of the box.
Love the art, you almost made me forget the stretched pixels. :-O The orc girl is of course my favourite. Gameplay is simple but I still managed to summon some junk, oops. Is the timer hidden? I was surprised when it suddenly ended.
The candle on the left side of the screen burns down, representing the remaining time. There's also some beeping that should happen to alert you to the timer running out, but this should probably all be communicated more explicitly.
I think it's fine, I was just tired probably <_<
